Florida State does not allow casino gambling. To get around this law, some companies operate boats and cruise ships that go out into international waters (3 miles) and then open up the casino on-board. They stay out there for about 4 hours and they come back to land.

One of the ports where the casino boats/ships go out from, is Cape Canaveral, on the Eastern coast of Florida.  Cape Canaveral is about an hour's drive from Orlando.

While my mom was visiting from California, we went on the casino boat a couple of times. These are some photos from those trips.
